Sense of humor is something you're either born with or not, it is that simple. Also it is usually only males that have a sense of humor.

Having a sense of humor means you can sense humor. Meaning you can “get” subtle jokes. I can’t tell you the number of times I’m watching a show or movie with the wife and I bust out laughing and she doesn’t flinch. No sense of humor. I got the joke, she didn’t. Now being funny to other people is a different story. But usually the two go hand in hand. And as others have said, you either have it or you don’t.

It’s honestly all about failure. Making people laugh comes with a lot of failed one liners, but when you hit the mark everybody enjoys your company. Don’t be scared to sound stupid, a lot.
