they showed opposition to the incorporation.
Lol If you start a local NAMBLA club and include me in the group, but I protest and tell you I don't want to be in your sick club. When you finally get the charter, and I'm not included as a member, could you not say that I "opted out" since you tried to include me initially?

You people do realize that Gardere is now St. George, right?
Were you born this dumb or is this the culmination of a lifetime of trying?

St. George almost had its first murder.
Depends which direction they were going. If they were headed East bound, that is Baton Rouge
ETA: Just clicked the link and it even says East bound....so sorry, no near murder in St. George.
St. George - Still Murder Free for over a week. Can Baton Rouge say that?

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office handled it. That is St. George. Had it been in Baton Rouge, BRPD would have handled it.

Incorrect. Because of safety reasons, EBRSO still patrols it, but it is incorporated into Baton Rouge. The first to respond will be the Sheriff, but it's in Baton Rouge.
ETA: I did just look it up. Since the StG election, BR - 4 murders; StG - 0.

We short 79 officers.. lets approve another few dozen acres to be annexed... what could go wrong

So you think EBRSO is the first to respond to an incident in BRPD's jurisdiction?
After reviewing this further, I think it occurred in the unincorporated area of the parish and outside the city of St. George.

Just wait till St. George starts hiring. The few left, after Ascension hires the cream of the crop at BRPD, will leave.

I don't think; I know. BRPD is already too short-handed and because the sheriff is already patrolling the surrounding areas, the two agencies worked it out so the Sheriff would still patrol the area

Battalions set up at the perimeter. We be safe.

How long before the Feds have to send in reinforcements?

You don't have to wait. They are leaving an average of 3 per month now.

Here are some of the new recruits responding to an emergency now.

I've been also hearing rumors that Pinnacle Entertainment is not happy with the City of BR

It’s good to see some common sense by the NAACP. They believe their needs aren’t being addressed. They see SG’s grassroots move and they want to do the same.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I'd gladly support their cause of deconsolidation for EBR.

What I find hilarious:
I live in SBR and majority are Trump voters, but I have neighbors crying racism and wanting to be annexed into BR. Have fun with that you fake arse flakes.
These are the same MAGA folks from 2016.
Same ones screaming no more taxes, yet they're getting ready to get soaked when they become part of the City of BR
