What’s the earliest you should text someone?

I feel like you should at least wait till 7:30AM at the very least if you have any doubts to them at all that they’re awake.
I had a coworker text me at 6:00AM on the dot and yes, that woke me up.

Text 24/7 that’s the beauty you don’t have to respond until you want.

Then you should change your phones settings then.
Hell, don’t all smartphones now have a Do not Disturb setting that will mute any notification?

Yes, but we are talking about the principle of the matter. How early should you be texting people?

My co-workers, friends, and family text around the clock. It is understood that they will be answered when convenient.
Don't bring your phone to bed.

You must be a Democrat to think 6am is early. Most highly productive people already have 2+ hours of work complete at 6am.

If it’s work related
Any time is fine

Example: someone called me at 10:45 last night. Well after i was asleep. I text that person back at 5 AM. All in an attempt to train him. I am a morning person.

Text anytime, not call anytime unless it's an emergency.

Unless your job entails safety of others, that’s retarded.

I texted someone at 5:59 this morning but I knew they would be up. Unless I KNOW someone will be up at a certain time I would never text more than 1 hour before they are due at work.

I start texting with certain people at 6A sometimes but it’s people I know are up by then.

I was texting my fantasy football opponent as soon as I woke up this morning at 4:30 and saw that I won.

I encourage our guys to reach out if there is an issue. Our office is open 17+ hours. It's rare that I get a call on the extreme ends of the day so I don't mind; It's my job.

Then it was answered: texting doesn’t imply or require active participation of the other party. They can respond at their leisure.
You should be conscientious with the timing of phone calls.
The same regard doesn’t apply to texts.
I like how the principle of the matter is looking for justification to be mad at the other guy for your lack of planning.

Yep DND and answer at your convenience. My phone ringtones and vibration stay off basically 24/7. Dinner time my phone is on a wireless charger in the living room.
I've been slowly implementing more and more routines that don't include a phone so I can break the addiction.
Anyway, I digress.. texts can be sent whenever as long as everyone has their phones on silent
