There’s really not much else to say but that the USC season he coached wasn’t a fluke. He knows what’s up.

We're seeing him at his best.

He's recruiting well he has the team ready to go and he made the right coaching hires and letting them do their thing

He has learned a lot and has made terrific hires and adjusted to what isn't working, the sign a of very good coach.

O is doing fine, but let's be realistic, many coaches can do the same at LSU. Many. Not all. There is a reason Saban wanted to coach at LSU.

He’s definitely grown on me. I was never oneof those that thought he would completely tank the program. I just thought it would be more of what we had under Les. He has definitely shown a willingness to adapt and change. He deserves some props for finding Burrow and Brady for sure.

His biggest change is he brings guys in to do a job, not try to do everything himself. He’s a manager of people. It’s impressive how he’s adapted to everything. Recruiting, offense, fan base.

Um no. Hasn't proven anything yet.

Good start. Very good start.

Needs to win conference before we start throwing out best

he has won nothing yet. we fired miles who won hardware yet not near enough due to his underachieving and floundering of talent

once O wins hardware we can has a conversation. Bama is still the elephant in the room whom he has to beat.

if you mean he could turn out to be a very good CEo HC you could be right. he still cannot call one side of the ball.

Lol he’s still a nobody.

Same results if any of us were hired to be a coach. He does nothing. LSU made excellent hires and O sits back and does nothing and gets the credit.

My mind is blown by the love he’s getting.

He’s definitely done much better than what he did at Ole Miss. but I also wonder if maybe ole miss is just impossible to be successful at without having prostitutes hired.

The HC has done an incredible job thus far. But it's an incomplete grade right now.

We have a rare talent at QB, arguably putting up the single greatest season at QB for LSU.

Ultimately the HC will be judged on how far he can take this rare talent, because we don't know when we'll ever see it again. I think we'd all be disappointed if we didn't even make the playoffs with this type of offensive proficiency.

The main thing about him is that he is willing to take suggestions and evolve and he’s not stuck in his ways

Let’s revisit that assessment after we beat Bama and win the west. Top-flight head coaches normally own hardware. imo

I know I'm different then 99% of the posters on here and admit I was wrong about Coach O . Since the start of last year, he's 5-1 vs Top 10 teams (only loss to Bama). Same number of Top 10 wins as Dabo/Riley/Kirby combined over the same stretch
I'm glad Jimbo went to A&M and Herman went to UT

I'm going to wait until season's end to make my judgment. Let's not forget that he had an opportunity to play Bama in TS last season with the SEC on the line and failed. Though I'm happy with where we stand, we haven't won anything yet.

Surrounding yourself with a good staff is what good coaches do.
