I do.

And I'm against people anywhere being brutally oppressed.

Interesting.....

The world turning a blind eye towards China's HORRIBLE human rights violations, for the sake of making money, is something that if there is a God to answer to at the end of all this, I will be lacking in excuses as to why I did not protest more, chant more, boycott more, or just do more.

Our worth in life will be thy worth...

I initially stand on Hong Kong people. But it is riot now. Hong Kong government has said that extradition bill is DEAD way ago. Protrsters evolved to throw gasoline bomb and corrosive liquid to police, destroying subway stations. Unfortunately, media only reports Hong Kong police beating protesters, which follows the cold war concept. My chinese friends in US also told me Facebook blocked his account because he shares supporting Hong Kong police video/message. We need to know the whole story before making a full statement. Let's keep our tiger game clean. I would rather spend time practice our Neck chant. Lol. I just want my tiger to frick Florida and make playoffs. That's it

I don't think you understand that China has become a police state. People are not allowed to speak about anything in public or engage in any kind of electronic communication without the constant supervision of the police. Much like Nazi Germany, the Chinese government deliberately fabricates media narratives for propaganda, and if anyone is caught leaking real information they are imprisoned... At the very least.

These people are at war with their government. This isn't a pep rally. These people are protesting tyranny. What would you do if you were in their situation? Allow the police to arrest you, or fight back?

Great. I agree. Now do it somewhere other than at the LSU football game, b/c i don't give a frick about Hong Kong when i'm in the stadium watching that game.

It won't affect the game. And no one is being disrespected other than the tyrants running China. You don't have to participate. I won't even be at the game, so I can't participate in anything that might happen in that game, but I'll support those people any chance I get.

I don't know what the downside is for you. The game will go on. And when it's over, as much as we all love LSU football, it won't mean a thing in reality. What's going on in China matters. I think everyone can deal with a chant if one should break out, without having their day ruined, don't you think?

Our country is and always has been great. It's never gone to hell, except in the minds of malcontent idiots like you.
If your stupid, ridiculously narrow view of American greatness isn't met in totality, then the country has gone to hell. You're a know nothing. You and all the rest of idiots that believe the lies of America's demise.

no, it's idiots like you who turn everything possible into a political debate. If the students want to have a rally on the parade grounds for Hong Kong come Monday then that's fine. Saturday is about this awesome football team we have, not some protests in fricking China. I will be severely disappointed in our student section if there are HK chants

America does this with the pharmaceutical companies all the time.

We are not innocent.

I’m not saying I agree of disagree with what China is doing. I’m only pointing out that it is well within ESPN/Disney’s rights to prohibit or promote any political statements over their broadcast.

I may or may not agree with their stance on this particular topic. I have not divulged that information. I’m simply pointing out that this, in no way, violates anyone’s freedom of speech and to say that it does is just ignorance of the law.

Just not stupid protests, such as the ones fabricated by BLM types, that ignore real, verified data about police interaction with American Blacks, that indicate essentially, statistically, NO excessive shootings/killings of black citizens by white (or other) police officers.

Again, This is an LSU Football game, not a place to shout out your political views!

Truth decides it. The BLM protests were based on a NONEXISTENT fairy tale.

Is the highly left-leaning New York Times good enough for you? How about Harvard U.?

Reality check: Study finds NO RACIAL BIAS in Police Shootings

quote:

“On the most extreme use of force — officer-involved shootings — we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account,” said Harvard economics professor Roland G. Fryer Jr. in the abstract of the July 2016 paper.

Mr. Fryer, who is black, told The New York Times that the finding of no racial discrimination in police shootings was “the most surprising result of my career.”
