The more the left and their deep state minions try to create a new media circus, the more they empower Trump. All they're doing is making it clear that they will attempt destroy anyone challenging the status quo they've set in DC and they'll do it by any means neccessary whether it be these "whistleblowers", endless investigations based on lies or setups, or trying to use their soldiers in the media to tank the world's largest economy.

Then why did Pelosi "announce formal impeachment inquiry" today?

She could be launching a separate inquiry into this Ukraine scandal. We'll have to wait for the specific language.

But like I said the Judiciary Committee already voted and passed the resolution to begin impeachment proceedings.

Whistleblowers' Protection Act

Unless this person was actually privy to the direct conversation. This person CANNOT actually be considered a whistleblower. Where is the evidence that the whistleblower has? We already know this person does not posses first hand knowledge of the conversation.

Plus what THE PRESIDENT has allegedly done is not against the law. If you know differently, please cite federal statute, because I'm not finding it.

Is it a phone tap if you know other people are listening?

If it's a separate inquiry why did you say it had already begun?

You've convinced me you're just not very intelligent.

Can you cite this in the law? Otherwise, I'd be more inclined to believe that the DNI IG knows more about the law than some random message board user. He said the claim is urgent and credible and needs to be passed to congress.

Abuse of Power isn't a federal statute, your are correct. But by precedent, since it was part of Nixon's articles of impeachment, it is an impeachable offense.

The biggest issue that comes out of this is that the president is apparently no longer capable of having secure discussions with foreign leaders without the threat of a person listening and attempting to use what was said against him.

This is a terrible precedent to set.

Not to mention that the whistleblower has been reported to not have been privy to the actual conversation.

Awful bold for the Dems to move forward with this not knowing what is in the complaint, the phone call transcript, etc. Hope it blows up spectacularly in their face.

They don’t care about this. It’s all a quest for permanent power. Their desperation is partly because they though by 2016 demographics had permanently cemented them into the White House.

Why people on this board waste their time with this idiot is beyond me.

He is either paid, or mentally ill.

In America, when you're indicted for separate crimes with separate fact patterns, you usually have separate trials...

We’ll see, but I bet that it will.

I still think it is possible that it was a purposeful leak and the transcript will be completely benign.
