How do they calculate this? Because high taxes are bad news for people living off pension/savings, and we have Medicare so it's not as if single payer is any advantage.

Looks like a list of countries with national pension funds that citizens there pay into their entire career.

Maybe next time they can get someone other than the KLAN to do the rankings.

Geez, Hitler, calm down.

Funny how they don't factor in freedom, otherwise we would be number 1.

Lol muh freedom

Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose.

But seriously, what do you think is going on in Switzerland? You think they feel like slaves or something?

SIX MONTHS OF TOTAL DARKNESS in Iceland in the Winter

sounds like a damn paradise! nothing like 6 months of eternal darkness to make you feel alive after you retire!

Was this list sponsored by the Scandanavian Tourism Board?

Some nice countries on the list, but to live there?

I love to travel and get along just about wherever I go, but it is hard to beat the United States.

Family, personal freedom (guns), fast cars, cheap fuel, college football; none of those countries have any of that unless you're super-wealthy.

Here are the top 10. Percentages were rounded, so it appears there are ties.

Iceland - 83%

Switzerland - 83%

Norway - 80%

Ireland - 78%

New Zealand - 78%

Sweden - 77%

Denmark - 77%

Canada - 77%

Australia - 77%

Luxembourg - 76%

In which of these countries could I step off a plane with a bag full of every dollar I have and declare "Hey everyone, I'm retiring here!" with little to no hassle or red tape?

I’d rather work in America than retire in Iceland

I believe this is more likely a list of countries where citizens retire early with a good retirement fund but only if you are from there. I doubt many foreigners are moving to Iceland to retire.

Winter average temperatures in Indiana are colder than the average Winter temperatures in Iceland. The Summers remain cool...it would actually be a pretty awesome place to live.

I don’t know, average high in July is 56 degrees and they get a grand total of 1300 hours of sunlight for the whole year (less than half of what New Orleans gets).

Sounds depressing

If I wasn't from the US I wouldn't want to retire here either. At least, not until the SJW infestation is cleared up.
