Really the only tempting thing to upgrade is the fact that you can still get something in return for your old phone if you have a X or newer. As the clock ticks they decrease substantially in trade in value

Starting price of $1,000 for a phone with 64GB of storage?

What's new with the watch? I have to admit I'm a fan..not for me but my wife loves it especially the health and fitness features.
She currently has a 4.

Why the hell would anyone need 3 cameras...

Yawn. Will hold onto my 8+ another year and hope Apple finally ditches the notch (and gets promotion/ usb c) next year.

Even though phones have replaced digital cameras, they still are lacking in some camera specific areas. Because phones don't have enough room to add a single lenses with different levels of zoom/wide angle, they accomplish these features by adding multiple lenses and pulling everything together in software.

I get that it will appeal to some people but if they just keep making camera features the big difference between models from now on, they will lose me. I don't use my camera enough to justify turning in my 8 to start all over on payments. The current camera is fine for my needs.

4 additional hours of battery. That's huge imo.
Yeah. Makes it a no brainer.

Didn’t seem that big of an upgrade from a 4. Looks like the only big new feature is a low power mode that keeps the screen on all the time while keeping the same battery life.

I dont get how you iPhone guys do it. I have an iPhone as my work phone and a Note 10+ as my personal phone and despise the iPhone, it's just so far behind in terms of accessibility and function

Its kind of hard to believe its 2019 and iphones are still using lightning cables.

No it doesn't, they don't want to sell a 128 gig version at base. Average person doesn't need more than that, but does need over 64gig.
They are still rolling with 64, 256, 512 range. Makes them a frick ton of easy money.

They switched to USB C on the other end of the cable for the included wall wart. They need to move on to it on both ends.

Everything I have is Apple--Computers, Watch, iPads, Apple Pay, Apple Music, HomePod, iPhones etc. Everything just integrates so well-seamlessly in the background.
Oh and it ain't Google.

You can’t charge your iPhone with your iPad cable
You can’t plug your iPhone headphones into your iMac without an adapter
You can’t plug your iPhone headphones into your iPad at all to my knowledge
Apple
