This! I was excited to get the 11 but the camera is not enough to move me. My XS Max is as fast as shite already and takes really good pics.

Pretty strange cause the reviews I've read all back it up. But I haven't had a chance to run mine all day yet either so I'll report back on my experience.

I will see how it performs in low service areas soon, I'm pretty hard on a battery from working in areas with very little signal and using it throughout the day. All my testing so far has been mainly with strong wifi or good signal. So it will be interesting to see how it works now that I am back at work with it.

I haven't seen it explained, are they talking 5 hours of extra standby time, or SOT? If it's just standby time I can see how that would be more difficult to recognize. If it is SOT, that should be pretty obvious as it would be a 50% increase over the XR

I don't think they are talking about standby time, could be some kind of weird average they worked out from their tests. They don't give much detail on the website or data.
This talks about the tests they perform.

3 days of usage on 1 battery on my 11 pro max. Hardest part was remembering all my dam passwords and having to reset them.

Yes, what I read refers mostly to video playback time as being 4-5 hours longer depending on the model.

They really fricked up video trimming with ios13, absolute dogshit. They playbutton is 1mm away from the left edit drag line so when you try to drag it, you either hit play or you advance the video. I literally cannot edit using the left bar, I’ve tried everything

Yeah, I finally found a breakdown of it.
It was 20 hrs on the 11 pro max vs 15 hours on the xs max.
It was a much smaller difference between the 11 and the XR. I think like an hour or two, which is still pretty good
