Anyone have an estimate that was there? They were saying close to 30k bought on second market. Did we come close to that?

It's a huge stadium so we were scattered around. I saw purple and gold everywhere on bevo Blvd. My guess is the 12 to 15k is accurate. When we scored you could hear it. "Lsu LSU" went up a few times loudly.

I’d say 15k. Fans were scattered throughout stadium.

People are overinflating the number because there were so many LSU fans in the east and south upper deck. There were so many up there because there were no sections of LSU fans in the lower bowl.

this. I looked hard every time camera panned the crowd and I saw zero LSU fans except for the ones in the little group in the upper corner where Texas allowed them to sit. Other than that, none.

Definitely more than 7. LSU fans were well represented in the upper decks and particularity the end zone and the east side. Probably only had about 2500 in the lower bowl heavily scattered. I would say 15k is accurate with about 20k traveling overall.

I hope LSU fans will hold on to their tickets next year or sell only to LSU fans.

I was in the upper corner (2nd row from the bottom last night) and I tried to estimate the fans the best I could. When we went up two TDs with 2 min to go, the Texas fans started to bail, and the Tiger fans then showed up everywhere (they didn't leave). The entire upper area around me and down the side to I'd say the 20 yard line was majority LSU. There were a lot scattered around the sideline seats, etc. I'd guess 15,000.

It didn't look like a lot on TV, the lower sections were almost entirely orange. I was hoping for something similar to UGA last year, but it didn't stand out as well.

I was there & agree, about 7K, which is not bad considering the absurd secondary ticket market prices.

Paid $300 to be 46 rows up in Sec 102 (west upper deck).

I was there, I would say 7-10k. With about another 5k roaming the streets who didn’t get tickets.

There are a couple of articles that the LSU band was seated in the nose bleed area..Some people are saying it's not true.. Is it true?

True. They were in the upper deck in the NE corner around the 3500 LSU ticket allotment.

Ridiculous, but confident Woody & Co. will return the “favor’ next year. Or not, put the UT band down low where they should be & show some class.
