No scrimmage just practice. CBK must’ve called an audible.

So many times. Guess this falls in the “We’ve got to coach better” category.

Lakestream in WF or Bigfork Anglers in Bigfork. Or drive west near Libby and fish the Kootenai with Dave Blackburn. Less crowded over there and he has nice cabins on the river and good restaurant.

Pete might be the best shooter of all time, but his passing and dribbling changed the game forever. Whether it was the no-look pass, or dribbling between his legs and behind his back, just to cite a few, Pete did things with the ball no one had ever done before. When he went to movies as a kid he would sit on the aisle so he could dribble the ball through the entire show. He revolutionized the sport.

Love it! As I said, just dealing with some allergy issues and also a bit of concern by some who eat nitrate and preservative free. Thank you fir the response!

I agree but I’m dealing with some potential allergies plus cancer concerns. Whether these are justified I can’t say....
From the Mayo Clinic: “Sodium nitrate, a preservative that's used in some processed meats, such as bacon, jerky and luncheon meats, could increase your heart disease risk. It's thought that sodium nitrate may damage your blood vessels, making your arteries more likely to harden and narrow, leading to heart disease. narrow, leading to heart disease.”

Just got back from weekend at TB with my son and we had a hard time catching much at all. Cold front didn’t help. I’m always impressed by your TB reports. Been fishing there since the 70’s but it seems much harder to catch fish now. No grass anymore. I hear from locals it’s not the same and Rayborn is much better. Great video!

I’m headed to Toledo Bend tomorrow. Any advice appreciated.

At the end of the Ole Miss game everyone threw oranges on the field because we were headed to the Orange Bowl. Some guy also recorded a song called “Archie Who at LSU” about the game. You could buy it on 45 records at the local convenience stores.

We were there but downstairs. It was rockin for sure and the bouncer told me more like 1500 Tiger fans. We could not hear music downstairs but we heard some upstairs. I believe Neck was played but can’t confirm. Loud as shite.

The names comes from a line in the Apollo 13 movie. Scott Rabelais also used it in a recent column in The Advocate. Very fashionable these days.

Your experience was very different from ours at least as far as the fans. We sat in 102 and The arrogance and entitlement and disdain was palpable. Lots of snarky comments from the fans around us that on my younger days days might have started something. No “good game” or “good luck” comments to be heard. Don’t care to ever go back to a game there. Other than Alabama fans, I found the Texas fans to be among the worst I have encountered.
re: How many LSU fans were at the game?

12,000 We were very well represented around town all weekend.

Night for sure. Too hot in Austin to play in the afternoon in early September.
