Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I looked and didn't see it posted anyone (unless I missed it).

Robert Downey Jr. will just lend his voice since he will be an A.I. like J.A.R.V.I.S.

I guess I consider myself as somewhat of a "comic book nerd", but I never heard of Ironheart. Apparently it's some girl that Marvel tried to use to take up Iron Man's role, but apparently it "faced a backlash for its inaccurate portrayal of a young black female and for a lack of black female writers."

Here's the link: Ironheart

Because even when you pander...its still not enough. This is why you never give an inch. These people simply cannot be satisfied. They're basically legalized extortionists.

Female Thor
Female Ironman
Captain Marvel
She-Hulk
Ms. Marvel

I guess that scene in Endgame was a preview of what's to come.

I’m probably one of the more well versed individuals on here when it comes to comics.

Some of the characters there were short run comics and truly disliked, for a multitude of reasons.

I like the idea of Female Thor, but the comic run was abysmal.

Ironheart was pretty much disliked by everyone.

Ms. Marvel started off great. I bought a bunch of them, but they went downhill hard.

She-Hulk is good.

I like comic version Capt. Marvel.

I’m just questioning the course of action of going all female in the MCU.

I wonder if they’ll have Shuri take over as Black Panther soon.

I always thought that DC did a better job showcasing its female heroes then Marvel did when it came to comics. Wonder Woman was... well it was Wonder Woman.

But the various incarnations of Batgirl tended to be good series. Birds of Prey was often excellent. Catwoman was usually quite good.

I mean we're getting Moon Kinght and Blade. Let's also not forget the Fantastic Four and X-Men are on their way as well and of course Adam Warlok

The one where every female superhero is miraculously in the same spot at the same time even though it's a massive battle, and none of the dudes are allowed to join?

Why not, for him..his character is already established. Voice acting will be 1 or 2 takes for him. Can be in pajamas with a coffee and a joint.

That scene was ridiculous but on the flipside if all the male characters had shown up like that and none of the females were included, would it seem strange?

Is this for a Disney + show or an actual movie?

Ironheart was messed up for a number of reasons.

The writers knew nothing about being a young black female.

Tony turning things over to her made no sense considering he barely knew her.

She is usually held up as the prime example of inclusiveness done wrong, as opposed to Miles Morales being how to do it right.

It would look strange. Black widow and scarlet witch were in the team up in AoU. If they were magically not around I would've noticed. The scene in Endgame was definitely forced

Yep.

I know she took over in the comics.

I was just remarking that it would fit the current direction of the MCU to replace T’challa with Shuri.

Would make for some interesting Movie/TV Board threads, considering this board’s opinions of Black Panther anyway.

It would be real interesting to see people defending it.
