Go Gators. Games like this are part of the reason LSU got a shot at the national championship in Glendale last year.

Miami. FL came alive, but over all was not that impressive.

Hope you’re correct but we haven’t seen the good guys play a down yet, either.

I couldn’t help but pull for Miami. I laughed every time it looked like they might pull it off.

I had to pull for UF. They're SEC brethren and they're no Ole Piss or the Gumps. That being said, it was wonderful watching them struggle to beat those a$$hats from Miami. Not a fan of Mullen since he left State like he did.

+1. A bunch of overreacting cry babies per usual. Their defense saved their arse last night. Can't wait for them to come to Tiger stadium! Geaux Tigers!

Florida to win and LSU to beat Florida. After watching last night, that combination is at a very high probability. The only negative, Florida managed to fuel the turnover chain stupidity.

I hope so as well, but UFs defense is amazing. That game was not what the score indicated. UF kept shooting itself in the foot and miami kept the game close with two broken tackles. If that game was played again, it would be UF by 14 or more.

Faking punts from your own 20 and surviving near pick 6's in the last few minutes of a game don't happen that often. Both teams looked rough, and it might just be early season rust.

UF was only in the game because of broken tackles on their first TD

They also got a break when Miami had to settle for a FG and missed a chip shot. The ending could have been different.

Both teams were terribly undisciplined.

Agreed on all points except maybe the final score if the game was played again. Florida, under Flippy Franks, was less than stellar on offense. Don’t know if they had the game 1 yips or what, but that was a poor display, as well, other than a couple series.

How would it benefit LSU if Florida wins? If we win our games we in playoffs. So tell me, why would you pull for Florida?

Let's see. wouldn't if be better for LSU's image and SOS for them to beat a UF team ranked #5 or # when we play instead of a UF team ranked in the teens or possibly unranked?

Considering that we will most likely lose to Bama, all the other wins and who is ranked at the time we beat them could really help us possibly still get in the playoffs or the next best bowl possible.

Now that you have playoffs if you win your games you’re in. Hoping for a media push doesn’t matter anymore. Worrying about SEC hype means shite. Just be a better fan and hate the teams you’re supposed to hate. If Florida wins then you get your worthless silver lining. But to pull for teams you recruit against and play every year isn’t helpful.

sure, this is true if we win all our regular season games. Which has happened twice in the last 80 years.

Assuming we don't run the table, I want all of our opponents to win every game - except ours. That helps us.

Not to mention I like playing in the strongest conference in the country, and want it to stay that way.

The game was less than stellar and a relative let-down.
