The OT Lounge is a poem, a stink, a grating noise, a quality of light, a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream. The OT is the gathered and scattered, WYHI and teacher sex, and about tree fitty other things. Its inhabitant are, as the man once said, "whores, pimps, gamblers and sons of bitches," by which he meant Everybody. Had the man looked through another peephole he might have said, "Saints and angels and martyrs and holymen" and he would have meant the same thing.

There was a guy who’s job it was to figure out how many lifeboats to put on the Titanic.
There was another guy who’s job it was to figure out how to safely moor the Zepplins at Lakehurst.
There was another guy in the US Navy in 1941 who’s job it was to make sure that Pearl Harbor was safe from enemy aerial attack on Sundays.
There was another guy in a band in England, his name was Pete Best.
Each of these guys were related to each other by a common grandson.
That grandson is who invented the OT Lounge.
