Everywhere I look at the airport there is some 20-30 year old perfectly fit and well off looking white girl parading around her pampered “service dog”. I’ve seen 3 in 30 minutes

This nonsense has to end.

My anxiety dog carries the weed through the airport for me in his vest. He’s a good dog.

This isn’t high on my list of concerns. As long as the dog doesn’t do anything to you, why should you care?

Was in Florida all week last week. The beaches there are posted every where, "No pets on the beaches"

A group of 30-40 something year olds came and set up beside us two days and had a small dog with them everyday. A lady stopped the first day and told them that dogs were not allowed on the beach. One of the girls in the group told her that it was a service dog.

They were throwing shite in the water and letting the dog to and get it numerous times. It was clear that it was just a pet.

Service dogs are for blind or physically handicapped people you dingus

"Emotional support" animals are what your referring to and if you don't like it then you can kiss my emotional support ostrich right on the arsehole

IMO, If the dog is less than 25 pounds you should be arrested

If the dog is bigger and a good boy then we'll just take your word for it that it's a service animal

Go on amazon
Order “service dog” vest
Take your normal arse stupid dog everywhere and inconvenience and annoy people
If they complain, say, in a whiny voice “but it’s my service dog!”

Rinse
Repeat

It’s apawlling how out of hand this is

Only issue I have with it is as a business owner/employer where other guests/customers ended up having issues/complaints and it hurts business. For true service animals - fine - the other guests/customers just have to deal with any issue they may have and I can deal with any lost business. For "emotional support animals" where people basically just want to have their pet in a place that normally doesn't allow animals? Screw that.

Also as an employer this issue is starting to creep into employees with a "disability" getting their doctors to certify that they need their emotional support animal to come to work with them to ease their anxiety as work can really stress them out. It has been a distraction for the employee, their coworkers and our customers/guests before. Again for a visually impaired employee or employee with a true need for a service animal, fine, you make the accommodation and deal with any issues. But this area of the law has really started to expand on the whole idea of what a service animal is and who is allowed to have them and where.
