I don’t think I’ve ever seen one there. I have seen a few at Hobby.

Little known fact. That hole in its mouth is its throat. If you stick your finger in it, the snake will not be able to breathe and will die.

Because dogs don't belong in airports.

And for that matter, I detest bars/restaurants that allow just any dog to show up. I don't want dogs around where I eat and drink in public. Leave the damned dog at home.

Sort of represents where we are as a society: how far are we willing to let the vocal minority inconvenience everyone else and abuse the rules/laws that are intended to protect people that actually need them, before we say enough.

Look at this very thread. Look at how many people told the OP to simply "get over it"

That mentality of the majority has led to us banning states from hosting sporting events because they wont let a grown man piss in the same bathroom as a little girl

Then don't go. It is a free market, let it decide. Obviously more people like it than don't, because it is gaining momentum.

A service dog is not the same as an emotional support dog. A service dog is trained to help a person with a physical disability. An emotional support dog does not qualify as a service dog unless the person has a physical disability and has been trained to assist a person with a disability.

When people say they can’t ask what dog is for they are being naive. People are to scared to upset someone so they let it go. An emotional support animal is a pet and not a service dog.

I saw 2 "service" dogs get into a fight at an airport. One of the dogs pulled the lady out of her wheelchair. Then the two people got into a fight. Not a cop or security guard in sight. Finally a baggage handler broke them up. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I'm not really referring to service animals or emotional support animals.

If a majority of people hated going to dog-friendly places, those places wouldn't stay afloat.

Obviously this depends on city, I guess I'm talking about Nashville. I can think of several struggling restaurants/bars/breweries that flipped their policy to be more dog friendly and saw a big increase in patronage. And that is just in my little neighborhood. I'm one of those people, I love bringing my 80 lb. goldendoodle to this dive bar in my hood. We just chill on the patio and people watch together.

ETA:

Bottom line, don't go if you don't like it. And if most people feel the same and do that, it will work itself out.

Again, this is for dog-friendly places, not businesses being forced to accept emotional support dogs.

They aren't real service dogs. These d-bags go online and print the shite out.

It's way past out of control.

For fricks sake, a lady tried to take a peacock on a plane as a service animal.

Which neighborhood? I’ve been looking at a possible relocation to N’ville and would like to live in a dog-friendly ‘hood.

Also as an employer this issue is starting to creep into employees with a "disability" getting their doctors to certify that they need their emotional support animal to come to work with them to ease their anxiety as work can really stress them out. It has been a distraction for the employee, their coworkers and our customers/guests before. Again for a visually impaired employee or employee with a true need for a service animal, fine, you make the accommodation and deal with any issues. But this area of the law has really started to expand on the whole idea of what a service animal is and who is allowed to have them and where.

My dog comes to work with me every day. He's got his own spot away from everyone if he wants, the job still gets done without issue while he naps, customers make a point to come over and socialize with him when they come in, and overall the mood in the office is way better than before I got him. Well behaved dogs make people happy. Maybe you should get a puppy and hang out with it.
