I hope they somehow finish the plot line set up in Solo. That movie is way better than it gets credit for and was done in by the massively ballooned budget more than anything else.

Am I the only person who has no interest in going back in time to follow the adventures of a person whose destiny has already known in detail? How can he have a romance, we know it won’t last. Certainly we never have to worry about Obi Wan being killed or losing a limb. Hell, everybody loses a limb in Star Wars. The stakes are automatically less, what’s the point?

I don’t get how Star Wars fans think this would be a great series. Obi-Wan went into hiding to watch over Luke...never mind the fact to hide Luke from Vader, Obi-Wan brought him to live with Vader’s stepbrother and didn’t hide the fact that his last name is Skywalker. Jesus, how much more attention is he going to bring to Tatooine by doing Jedi business?

It was done in by the awful taste the Last Jedi left in everyone’s mouth. Nobody wanted to see another Star Wars film after that.

And Solo was a terrible mess too so there’s that.
This could be good, depending on the plot and time period. The Mandalorian and RotS can go along way in redeeming Star Wars for me if they are good. If not, well at least the OT will be on Disney Plus

Solo was actually pretty good. The only reason it didn’t do well was because of the shitshow that preceded it.
