I actually think it could have promise. Based on some of the scenes from SW Rebels alone he was in that brought closure to another character who knows what his adventure may bring.
He was what 3 when he started training with Yoda. Later him and Jinn spent time with the Mandalore. Not to mention they pretty much skipped over all his training of young Anakin. Anakin went from becoming a padawan to his affair with Padme.
Season 1 could be his start of training with Yoda.
Season 2 adventures with Jinn.
Season 3 Training Anakin and adventures
Season 4 Clone Wars
Season 5 Hermit and battle with Sith plus all his dealings with Jabba the Hutt protecting Luke.
Again a lot of promise just not sure Disney is the one to do it.

Well you can go ahead and throw your first two seasons out of the equation since it’s Ewan and not a kid.

It was done in by the awful taste the Last Jedi left in everyone’s mouth. Nobody wanted to see another Star Wars film after that.
It had a $300m+ shooting budget b/c they had to do so many reshoots.
If it had stuck to it's original budget of around $150m and not had so much bad press (again to do extensive reshoots) it would have been a modest success.

They need to do a Vader movie set between episodes 3 and 4 when the Empire was bringing the galaxy to heel. The Vader scene at the end of Rogue One was too badass for them not to give him a movie. And do it soon while James Earl Jones is still around.

Solo was actually pretty good.
I loved how every single important event ever to happen in Han's life including his name, gun, ship sidekick, job, notorious mission, and even clothing all happened to him by random chance in a span of 3 days.

Rogue One was the best Star Wars Movie since Return of the Jedi. All others before and after it sucked.
Still say Emperor should have recruited Obi Wan after he kicked Annikan's arse on the lava planet.

I almost agree with you. But it's the best movie since Empire. It's better than RotJ

I hate that you're right because Rogue One is not a good movie.

Until Disney/Lucasfilm undergoes massive changes with their management, like getting rid of that moron Kathleen Kennedy, & ditches their politically motivated, woke as hell agenda I could not care less about this or anything else they make. If anything, just like I said re: the Old Republic and staying away from Revan so they don't frick him up, I hope this doesn't happen because I don't want them to frick up another good SW character.

Disney + Star Wars + Ewan McGregor = will be terrible.
In the words of Private 1st Class William L. Hudson, you can count me out man.

What’s up with all of the Ewan McGregor hate? Dude is very good actor and already has a working relationship with them (BatB and Christopher Robin).
There are a lot of ways this can go bad, but Ewan won’t be the reason.

Agreed. This is the best Disney star wars news I've ever heard. Ewan is great and I'm thrilled hes coming back.
I'm not so sure about kathleen Kennedy.

quote:the explanation for that is excellent.
to hide Luke from Vader, Obi-Wan brought him to live with Vader’s stepbrother and didn’t hide the fact that his last name is Skywalker. Jesus, how much more attention is he going to bring to Tatooine by doing Jedi business?

Pandering is bad story telling.
When your making choices to serve a political point - you’re going to make a bad movie.
