Never said it wasn’t and I’m not disagreeing completely. Just that 30 mph is so slow I don’t think an adult can possibly serve that slow.

They definitely can, especially as Jones was saying to just get it in consistently they could.

But if the entire goal is to win just one point, then you aren't worried about consistency. You'd go out and bomb 48 serves and hope to put a few in with enough speed to force an error.

Sometimes a hack that plays slow and non-conventionally can mess up the timing of someone that plays at her level. Sort of like a knuckleballer or a pitcher with really good off speed pitches. Wouldn’t be so hard for a decent tennis player to get a point off of her.

Easily, I bet my serve hits 25 mph.

I play tennis once or twice a month on average, and have played semi-regularly for 30 years, and there's no way I could legitimately score a point against Serena. She'd have to have an unforced error. Average weekend hackers that think they can are delusional.

A point, maybe if she faulted. No British man for sure.

If I get to serve there is always the chance she hits one out or into the net. Would have nothing to do with my skill. It's not easy to be perfect on EVERY shot. So could I score a point on her?? Probably not but maybe she would give me one by accident lol

Not a chance. In college, a friend and I played Mel Purcell (They were friends from Murray state) on the NLU courts. So doubles against single (321 in world) and he toyed with us.

You cant be serious. Shes the greatest female tennis player of all time and in 6 months of training she would wax the floor with you.

The difference between a point and a game is HUGE. I totally believe she is SIGNIFICANTLY better than me and would easily win 6-0, 6-0. The gap between professional women's tennis players and recreational male tennis players, in my opinion, is greater than any other sport.
I say I would get a point or two because it's INCREDIBLY difficult to win 48 points (two sets) in a row against anyone who is decent at tennis, no matter the gap in ability.

%0 chance anybody could get a game off of her. Her serve is harder than a lot of the mens players.

Im a pretty good tennis player, but I am really confident that even if I was on serve, 30-0 would be the the best scenario possible. If she is on serve, its not even close (a double fault shouldnt count seeing as you did absolutely nothing to win it).
