It's a joke. I highly, highly doubt it actually happens.
The military will not hesitate to stop anyone and everyone who came. If it actually seemed serious, they would raid homes before the time even came to go of the leaders and stop it before it starts.

Does anyone remember the 1995 film, Alien Autopsy? I think Fox network carried it ? It was hyped as the greatest film footage in broadcast journalism.
