It’s wishful thinking I guess instead of actually considering the implications.

Every team this year has dealt with injuries but the Dodgers it seems. Hell the Yankees are still missing Stanton, Andujar, Severino, and Betances plus they had Hicks, Didi, Judge, Sanchez, Paxton, and Voit out and managed the best record.

Could it be possible the Correa situation is worse than what we are privy to?

And it’s not my wishful thinking.

I’ve always hoped he would be part of our long term core moving fwd, but there’s no doubt in my mind now that he is not.

Given the odd and peculiar events surrounding him and the Astros during the last 2 seasons, I’m not quick to dismiss anything as a possibility.

It is obviously more likely he finishes this season as an Astro, but his name will be discussed.

Maybe the most incoherent post I've ever seen on this website. And that means a lot coming from me.

Yeah, our 1-5 in the 1st H of 2018 was historic.

They had the least number of missed starts in all of MLB to that point, and had set some all-time marks.

Yes, but what about the chaos? I mean, hinch had to try to calculate which guy was number 3 and which guy was number 4 every single day. It was chaos trying to crunch those numbers and then explain it to the pitchers. A task no man should ever desire.

Really who has the Dodgers lost?
Bellinger, Kershaw, Buehler, and Ryu have been healthy. Seager and Turner are the only major contributors I know of missing significant time.

Have they dealt with the I juries of the Yankees, and Astros?

Pollack and Rich Hill, Pollack may be more important because of his contract however the forgotten man in Joc has performed in his absence. I don't count Hill much how I don't count CC because both are at an age where if a playoff team is counting on them they're in trouble.

Slightly off topic, but since Cincinnati is off the table forever, where is the teams new "safe space" between series?

Not to mention the inner conflict Hinch has every time he sends a starter to the mound on only 5 days rest.

Human beings, not machines

I'm thinking of the bullpen in 2018 after looking at the numbers and I suppose I recalled the aftermath of the McCullers injury a little too much.

James had 3 starts and Framber had 5 starts.

Devenski was the only other pitcher to start a game outside of the top 5 in a full relief pitcher game.

Josh Rojas had another big day for Round Rock 3 hits, HR and 3RBI. Hes up to .313. The numbers between Corpus and Round Rock have been remarkably similar this year

44 games at CC: .322 (55/171) .405OBP 13 doubles 2 triples 8HR 30RBI 13SB 22BB 28K

41 games at RR: .313 (50/160) .415OBP 15 doubles 3 triples 7HR 28RBI 15SB 26BB 25K

Hes played defensively this year at 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF and RF. That's Marwin level versatility.

You have to forgive them. It’s Sunday so they probably thought the Cowboys had a game today.
