Andy Cannizarro would be a great fit. Has Louisiana ties, coached at LSU, Miss St.
Currently coaching High School so I think he would jump at the opportunity.
They could look at Northwestern's and Southeastern's coaches as they have both done some great things with limited resources.

I don't think the ULL fan base would react favorably to Cannizaro. It would be a tough sell to hire someone with a history/controversy after Robe considering how beloved and respected he was.

Don't be an idiot. Look at what everybody is saying about Coach Robichaux. See why he was so beloved by the community for 25 years. See why thousands of people poured into his wake and funeral.
The athletic department would be taking a huge chance to have the next guy be someone who lost his SEC job because he was fricking an athletic department employee. A lot of people would revolt. There are plenty of smart baseball people who aren't pieces of shite.
