...about how many first round picks Houston will give us to get rid of Eric Gordon. Yes sure. Then say, its not enough and hang up.

but I find it really comical that they MUST dump these guys but are seeking assets instead of the usual other way around.

Not sure why, someone likely gives up something for him.

He’s not s good 3 point shooter either. And his defense had degraded already a lot.

Eric Gordon can take a long walk off a short bridge anytime he pleases

Well I was mainly talking about acquiring Capela rather than Gordon. I think Capela would be a fine addition. I agree about Gordon but if he were cheap and came with the deal, I wouldn't be that mad about it.

You omitted the only guy from that article that would possibly be in play, PJ Tucker

PJ is 34...

I feel like we need young players that will mature along with Zion/the other young players we have.

How many teams are going “Man, I just have to have Eric Gordon!” these days?

Capela will be worth at least a pick. Tucker and Gordon? Their appeal is a little more selective.

Not in NOLA. He burned that one to the ground.

Really surprised they are shopping Capela, I thought they loved him. They just paid him good money, but still a friendly contract for a dude that is just getting better by the year.

Getting Capela would likely require a first to be shipped to Houston, His contrast is considered a asset and some teams around the league would be interested.

Pass.

Capela is considered an old school center who doesn’t necessarily fit well in the modern NBA.

The final price tag of $20m+ for a contract like that tells me that Houston is the team that should be sending a first.

The only one I'd kick the tires on is PJ Tucker.

Capela runs the floor, can hedge/ switch on guards on D, And also dive to the basket. Dont see how you see him as a back to basket old school center.
