Sources: Rockets shop Capela, Gordon for space

Acquiring Capela would be huge for the Pels. This would allow an easier transition for Hayes and we would have two viable/legit 5's. Also, Capela is 25. Having two young 5's that can play heavy minutes is something the Pels could use.

I know we need shooters but I think the Pels should kick the tires on the asking price for Capela.

Gordon could also be involved and that would give us the 3 ball we definitely need.

Thoughts?

Gordon hell no.

What draft pick are they including with Capela? We certainly wouldn't include any. They are the ones that need someone to take him into space.

You omitted the only guy from that article that would possibly be in play, PJ Tucker.

Gordon loves Nola and has the ideal attitude and character that we all want. I'm sure that all our fans want a return to the glory days when we signed him to that huge contract.

I'm somewhat kidding, but I find it really comical that they MUST dump these guys but are seeking assets instead of the usual other way around.

I saw a rumor that they are wanting to work something out with Philly for Butler S&T

God I hope that happens so bad. Houstons whole offense relies around the pick and roll and kick. They'd be getting rid of two of their more reliable kick 3pt shooters (and very good defenders) and their man pick and roll big man who is perfect for it. To bring in an offensive handicapped player

P.J/Zion small ball front court would be fantastic

Grab a Lopez and a decent back up PG like Sato and we're golden

I wouldn't call Butler offensively handicapped, he averaged over 18ppg last season. However, he is another player who needs the ball in his hands and needs those role players you mentioned to give him space and options. Maybe Morey is crazy like a fox and this will work out, but right now it looks like he's just crazy.
