You are going to have LeBron running point, as the player that moves the least in all the NBA

MM just brought up on twitter trying to trade for Iggy before he gets bought out. Would look like

Kendrich, Moore, + 2 2nds for Iggy

saves Memphis from spending money on a buyout and gets some stuff in return. Apparently Jrue & Iggy are tight too.

sounds like a damn good plan to me on top of not allowing Iggy to go to the Lakers

Aaron Nelson has to look mighty appealing to Iggy with his recent medical issues and his age.

ETA: It felt great to type an aging player with recent injury concerns should view New Orleans as a destination organization to help prolong his career.

Kendrich has some upside, but I don't see him getting much play here. If you can replace Moore with Iggy, you get actual size at the wing off the bench and you now have a "mentor" core of Jrue, JJ, Favors and Iggy...sign me the frick up

I love the idea. It allows Hart to also play the 2 which is his more natural position. You then also have so much ball handling that another "point guard" isn't necessary. Makes soooo much sense.

Throw in we would get an Iggy that is excited to play here ... so you have high level vets, who come from winning programs, excited to be in NO

Not to mention the championship experience.

Would love to have Iggy but you have to imagine he would prefer to be bought out and go wherever he wants, aka the Lakers to try and play for another ring.

I think that depends on Kawhi...if Kawhi doesn't go there then why would he go to LA? I think he'd have a better shot here, honestly.

He can say "I don't want to play with you and will retire instead" to try and make sure he is bought out.

I'm not saying he would do that, but players have threatened similar things in the past.

If we were considering it I would hope the Jrue connection would work because he would be an AWESOME addition.

In an uneven trade. You'd need to send out about $12 million to take him back, so Moore and 2 of the guys on low end deals should cover it.

How would that work cap wise? Iggy makes nearly $18 million. Is there a way to order the transactions to make it work?
