I someone on ESPN reporting that Kawhi may not make a decision today. IMO, the longer that this drags out, the better for the good guys.

Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of meeting schedule, Clippers Monday, Lakers Tuesday, Toronto last? It just never made sense that we had all of these "done deal to Lakers" leaks when he wasn't even meeting with them on that day.

that's why I was getting frustrated last night. if he met with the Clippers first, how would anyone know that Kawhi to the Lakers is a done deal? And if he already chose the Lakers, then why go through the charade of meeting with the Clips?

The rules are murky in this situation.
Him retiring amicably from Charlotte may not require a league vote to undo. If it does require a vote, it has to be unanimous.
If it appears he is headed to the Lake Show, I could see San Antonio voting no on general principle.

His brother played in the NBA for the Lakers, Pacers, Knicks, and 76ers. He also coached for the Bucks and Raptors. His brother Butch also supposedly worked with Kawhi when he spent the year in New York rehabbing.
Chris Carter and Haynes are probably the only 2 reporters with actual Kawhi connections.
FWIW Carter tweeted this morning:
"Kawhi just started the process, basically yesterday morning. It's going to be a process that I believe will take us until after the 4th of July."
