What's your rational/sane solution to end illegal immigration?

Mine's pretty simple,
1) End birth right citizenship. (The law would require at least one parent be a US citizen)
2) Substantial fines for employers of undocumented illegals. ($10k per occurrence)
3) The Immediate and orderly deportation of all undocumented illegals.
4) Wall?
The third one is somewhat of a logistical nightmare, but if it could be done it would send a clear message to anyone who's contemplating entering the US illegally they're making a poor decision.....illegals better have a legit asylum claim.

5) End all financial and other benefits for illegals provided by the government. Stop the reason they are coming.

All of that but I could be open to having a path to permanent residence for the DACA people, but no citizenship, no voting.

Totally agree but if we start deporting illegal squatters it would send a powerful message to any illegals who are considering entering the US.

Tbh, it's legal immigration that will destroy us.
My solution is to deport the people calling for more immigration of any type.

Provide amnesty for prosecution for a year. If you're found to be illegal, you're placed in a prison work camp for minimum 5 years making crafts and fixing roads.

Still works for me... besides if you ensure their is a real penalty (for returnees attempting to legally enter again) once its started in earnest the number of Self-deportation will skyrocket

Secure the border and simplify the process. People would not come here illegally if the process were not so needlessly complex.

End all welfare programs such as section 8 housing, food stamps, and unemployment. Only give Medicare and social security to people that have paid into it for at least 10 years or if they are permanently disabled. No one would be begging to come here then.

Land Mines. I posted it 3 years ago and it still holds. It's cheap, easy to install and no one dies since everyone will know that they are out there.

Let's first remember that America is a nation of laws.
Then enforce the laws enacted by the duly elected representatives of the people.
If we want to change the laws or make new laws someday, by golly we have ways to do that.
But let's just enforce the immigration laws we already have. That would be swell for starters.
