Yeah from what I've heard and seen, it seems like Garland could be the next big scoring PG in the league and that's something this team desperately needs. Fill out the roster with some more scorers and a big man and we should be a fun team to watch.

Very true. But he played it over the course of a season and post-season.
I really don’t have much of a point with it just an observation.

I’ve heard we won’t take RJ, Zion told the front office he didn’t like playing with him at Duke

Garland's stock is on the rise. The 4 pick is suddenly very valuable.

I've now set myself up to be disappointed if we don't take Garland at 4. I really like the potential

Does anyone find it interesting that we are NOT one of the teams that has reportedly worked out or scheduled a workout with Garland?
Or did I miss it?

The huge if here is Ja falling to #4, of course. But but but if if if...the Pels could then turn around and trade Ball for ____________?

Amazing how that works, huh?
We just missed Lillard years ago. I am not gonna say Garland is him, but he seems to have a really high ceiling.

They're just trying to see if someone gives up something crazy like Chicago offering Lauri or WCJ + picks. Standard stuff.
While everyone is trying to move up to get Garland and no one is trying to move up to get Barrett. Maybe Garland workouts were that outstanding like everyone is saying. NBA draft has surprises every year. This isnt standard stuff like yall are saying.

I’d be happy with Garland, Culver, Hunter or moving back. Don’t want to see pucks traded for vets again.

Now this is what confuses me. This needs to be done to at least take a look before trading the pick.

I always thought Garland would go #4, he has pretty high potential. Just hate that he’s with Klutch. Would prefer to be done with those fools.

I've been thinking this draft tiers out as a big 4 instead of 3. It's a combination of my thinking that Ja and RJ aren't quite as good as billed and Garland rising.

NBA teams are weird about players with limited film.
If you have a player with limited film who has shown some flashes, they will fall over themselves to take them.
They go back for another season and get more exposure, people have figured out their flaws and they aren’t a sexy pick anymore.
Perry Jones III comes to mind, as he was a potential top 5 pick in a weak draft but returned to Baylor for a season. The next year, OKC got him to the middle or end of the first IIRC.

If Garland has been killing workouts like that we need to be taking him.

I just looked at who Garland played in the 5 games that he played in college. All tomato cans.
I don’t think any of us amateurs has the requisite knowledge or tape to judge him.
I think just trusting the reports on him blowing people away at workouts is enough evidence for me. Obviously the talent this there and he's healthy.
