Another American mysteriously dies in the Dominican Republic.

I haven't followed this story line much but it's very strange. Are these people being poisoned?

My dad and I were talking about this and his theory made more sense than anything (and it was the source of a smaller number of deaths in resorts in Turkey, Greece, and some other areas with lots of European tourists).
He suggested that it was because of alcohol that was diluted with materials in order to increase profit for the wholesalers. However it is diluted either too much or with such dangerous chemicals that it poisons the drinker. It’s the most feasible explanation I’ve heard.

wasn't there also people dying in Mexican resorts; with traces of stuff found that was put into their drinks as they swam up to the bars?

Why would anyone go to that shithole. I can't believe David Ortiz was there. With the money he has, he should have moved his family out.

Agree with this theory. Bootleg liquor has also killed in Mexico, IIRC. Go to Florida rather than bargain hunting the Caribbean.

I’m in Monte Carlo, Baw. The parking lot at my hotel-the Fairmont -has a Rolls Royce, about 3 Ferrari’s, a McClaran, a Maserati, a Lamborghini etc. It’s insane. My buddy said , in America we aspire to a new Honda and here they aspire to buying their 23 year old favorite Russian mistress a 250k status car. I hope to get there someday. Imagine, my very own Honda.
