When you get pissed.. and even if it’s justified.. walk away.
Just walk away.
Cool down.
Realize that what you’re fighting about will eventually be forgotten.

Arguing, then ignoring, then rough make up sex.

Assuming your spouse will admit to any such thing.
In over 25 years of marriage, the words "I'm sorry" or "it's my fault" have never passed my wife's lips.

Divorced guy here. Listen carefully. Find her weakness. Turn it around on her

Just need some advice. Thanks.
If it is a pointless argument in front of the kids I tell her, "What argument is so important that it is worth destroying our kids hearts?"
Most adults know that arguments should not occur in front of the kids. They patiently wait for a time to have the mature discussion behind closed doors.
If your spouse is not mature enough to know this, then they need to be reminded many times.
If you have no kids, then this won't work.
My spouse seems to be addicted to arguing. Will argue over absolutely nothing. I am often amazed at the pointless arguments she likes to have.
If she is addicted to arguing, then she has a mental illness and needs help.

I don't say a word. Just listen and on occasion say your right I'll do better. But most of the time I just let her talk and get it off her chest without saying anything because she usually realizes a day or so after that she was wrong (imagine that). When she realizes that she was wrong and I didn't say anything to correct her she respects me (BJ) more than normal.
