I try not to argue with her because 99% time she's right.
I apologize and go to my safe space

Reminds me of a joke:

What did the wife with 2 black-eyes say while she was washing the dishes?

Nothing if she knows what's good for her.

It ends with me apologizing for no reason and her buying something expensive.

I tell her I'm right and she's wrong and if she doesn't like it then she get GTFO. She yells, storms off, and doesn't speak to me for a few days. I then apologize for being wrong.

A patronizing pat on the head. Women love that when they're all worked up.

Even though I haven't won a single argument with my wife she tells me that I always get what I want.

Not kidding — I actually had the elusive and rare argument win last night. It’s not often that I truly get angry at my wife enough to make me get in her face and yell back at her and she knows that. So when I do, I think it causes her to self reflect and realize that I was right. I only do that when I KNOW 100% that I’m right, too. Otherwise I’ll just let her do her yelling and let it ride. Not last night.

About 10 minutes after the fight was over she came give me a hug and kiss and said she was sorry. It was beautiful.
