yeah, good luck with that AD....

hopefully Griffin tells him to get fricked

he most absolutely will... maybe not in those terms, but I can see him laughing to himself as he calls Danny Ainge....

trades him whoever gives us the most

almost certainly will happen, for obvious reasons....

Are y’all even reading the part in the same article that Ainge doesn’t care in the slightest what AD wants and is undeterred?

If the Celtics think that way he will be a Celtic.

Been telling you this for weeks, btw.

As someone who enjoys a good hot take...this is a very dumb one.

99.9% of Raptors and OKC fans would make the trades for PG and Leonard again. In their own ways they worked out as well as either fan base could’ve hoped.

So then would you trade AD for LeBron straight up.

No, plus this scenario is nowhere near the same as potentially trading for a player in his prime of his career for maybe one year (AD, Kawhi) versus trading for an aging player on the backend of his career. (Lebron)

Even a aging LeBron could carry Zion and Jrue to the finals for the next 2 seasons.

The days of Lebron completely carrying a franchise to the Finals are over with. Go back & finish your summer school lessons for the day before you get left back further behind than you already are.

He re signed and they get 1st round exit and no signs of improvement for next season

They got a 1st round exit because PG13 played through injury towards the end of the season & in that series. He was nowhere as effective prior to his injury when he was putting up MVP type numbers.

Paul George to miss start of training camp

Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Paul George underwent rotator cuff surgery to repair a partially torn tendon in his right shoulder Tuesday and will miss at least the start of preseason training camp, league sources told ESPN.

1 month ago – via ESPN

Before the injury in late February, George had been considered an MVP front-runner and a Defensive Player of the Year candidate. He is expected to make a full recovery, although it won’t be until the preseason when the Thunder next address a time frame for his return.

I would trade every player, even Zion, for just 1 championship. I think every team would mortgage the future for a championship.

My xmas wish is AD doesn't get traded to LA this year, LA signs other players and doesn't have cap space in 2020 to sign AD again.

The Celtics want to pursue Davis and believe in their roster with or without Kyrie Irving

What exactly is their roster after an AD trade with no Kyrie?

Expect a lowball offer centered around picks, Jaylen Brown &/or Gordon Hayward

Tatum isn’t the type of star you hold onto no matter what. He had disappearing acts. Boston will put together an offer that essentially swaps Tatum for AD. And if it doesn’t work out, they can trade him at next trade deadline

I've wondered that myself. Ainge has to have several moves lined up if he goes All In on AD and thinks Kyrie is leaving.

Potentially it would be

Rozier (or another free agent)
Hayward
Brown (if they hold steady on him or Mem pick)
AD
Horford

ETA this is without any subsequent moves which I'm sure they'd make

And Smart. There’s nothing that says he has to be part of deal.

Would you rather LA, NY or following Celtics deal?

Tatum
Memphis pick
Horford

Could have Dlo in mind as a replacement, maybe someone else.

I don't see Ainge not offering Tatum.

That’s terrible in itself, now do what their roster looks like the next year when AD walks

And all of a sudden when posed this way, we are letting them keep Smart or Brown?

I don’t think they are attracting a Batman or a Robin, do you?
