Funny how Ranters latch on to ridiculous crap in order to criticize

Like the newest Rantard myth that CPM has small players.
Lets do a little comparison.
Non-Pitchers:
LSU:
Daniel Cabrera OF 6-1 191
Giovanni DiGiacomo OF 6-1 172
Antoine Duplantis OF 5-11 177
Zach Watson OF 6-0 160
CJ Willis 1B/OF/C 6-2 192
Astros' starters:
Michael Brantley LF 6' 2" 200 lbs
George Springer CF 6' 3" 215 lbs
Josh Reddick RF 6' 2" 195 lbs
LSU:
Hal Hughes INF 5-11 174
Josh Smith INF 5-10 172
Drew Bianco INF 6-0 219
Gavin Dugas INF 5-10 199
Brandt Broussard INF 5-10 162
Chris Reid INF 5-9 182
Cade Beloso 1B 6-0 227
Astros' starters:
Yuli Gurriel 1B 6' 0" 190 lbs
Jose Altuve 2B 5' 6" 165 lbs
Alex Bregman 3B 6' 0" 180 lbs
Carlos Correa SS 6' 4" 215 lbs
LSU:
Saul Garza C 6-3 229
Brock Mathis C 6-1 200
Braden Doughty C 6-1 184
Astros' starters:
Robinson Chirinos C 6' 1" 210 lbs
LSU:
Cade Beloso DH 6-0 227
Houston Astros starters:
Tyler White DH 5' 11" 225 lbs
Are the Houston Astros idiots or what? Have they not read the Rantard board and learned that they can NEVER BE SUCCESSFUL without BIG players? This is an example of why the Stros are at the very bottom of the MLB standings.
Overall American League Standings:
Houston Astros 45 22
Minnesota Twins 43 21
New York Yankees 40 24
Tampa Bay Rays 40 24
Lets do a little comparison.

Ree, this looks like your own work and not something just copied off twitter. And I don't disagree with it.

Because people think that hitting with lower is all about size when it's bat speed and torque in your swing.

I also remember when everyone was complaining that LSU teams couldnt win in Omaha because they couldn't play small ball...

Yes but why can’t they hit the ball like the astros?

This is a very easy question. It's b/c they aren't professionals.
CPM deserves criticism in some areas, but this isn't one of them.

Bregman and Altuve are 2 incredible players I bet the astros have a good hitting coach...Bregman is much better and hits for more power now

Agree... generally.
But that being said, I wouldn't mind a couple of "scare you when they come to the plate" hitters. And LSU has not had any guys like that for a while - maybe Beloso and possibly Garza in the future.
PM has gone for the shortstop/speedy mold of late. I don't mind it in general, but I think there's some value in some "beef" in your batting order.

It looks like on average they’re taller and bigger...
So idk.
Jose Altuve is an extreme outlier too.

My first. Combo of I actually agree because rantards have been ridiculous lately and, most importantly, no Coach O stretching or other unrelated pics

So now they recruit smaller faster players and still can’t play small ball. Great

Well, it's deeper than that though. The hitting philosophy is different than what they do (and what everyone in pro ball is doing).
One problem is that we teach everyone the same thing, nothing is individualized.
Secondly, the thing we teach is ground balls and line drives.

That would be a huge problem.

The Tards would never stand for Altuve being an LSU Tiger.
Jose Altuve 2B 5' 6" 165 lbs
He is WAY TOO small and everyone knows that LSU needs big players to be successful.

Altuve is an exception not a rule.
you don’t recruit a team of people with his specs and just hope on is Altuve.

Are we comparing Hal to Altuve?
Hal is on the roster because CPM believes being a coach’s son is a 6th tool.
