The government is a large corporation that can take your property and lock you up. The government is a much bigger threat.

We're arguing that the corporations are/will/can point the force.
The IRS scandal was just an appetizer for what the tech/government partnership will be capable of.

Oh, so the companies that direct the government to carry out use of force are innocent because their fingers aren't on the trigger. Excellent logic.

Pretty simple concept, yet folks here are struggling with it

The problem is that government and corporate interests are intertwined. Trying to say that one is worse than the other is futile.

That's a fair assessment.

So Zuck and Stalin can be debated?
Your government legally can kill, imprison, take your money, your home, your license...
Your government can legally require you to obtain a license to cut hair, fine you for watering your yard, fine you for wearing certain clothes, or not wearing clothes..
While it's true there is some overlap in interest, most acts of government are related to mob rule.

At least you included an example of the cronyism we're talking about

The US Chamber of Commerce is the connection between the 2.
It's made up of corp people and push the gov to do what they want. They very well may be the most powerful people in the US.

The rules concerning occupational licensing began under the banner of public health.

So were unions but we all know what that's about these days.

No ones arguing that there isn't some cronyism.
But populism is worse than cronyism, and I hate cronyism.
If you lose free speech and 2a, it will not b because of cronyism

The Gov't..They have been taken our freedoms away very slowly over the last few decades.

If you don't think these corporations would (and likely are) willingly assist the left (when they inevitably regain power) in silencing their opponents
So, instead of making moronic, paranoid and ignorant blanket statements, maybe you and others can create more specific threads that at least simulate that you know what you're talking about.
Until then, you do in fact just sound like a bunch pf figs from the 60's.

You don’t even know what you’re arguing, just more “Muh free market” nonsense. Do you not see a problem with Facebook, YouTube, Google and the way they are so aligned with not only the intelligence community but the Democrats? Democrats and Big Tech are aligned in trying to make “hate speech” a broad term that can be applied to all opposition.
Keep virtue signaling on the Internet for that sweet libertarian cred.

Both the Democrats and Big Tech are in full agreement that hate speech should be applied broadly. Big Tech is using their platform to test it out.

Is that why the Left has a love affair with Big Corporations?

It is for the tech industry. Twitter, FB, and Google are basically the right arm of the Democrats. They pretty much control the flow of information for the masses.
