I'm not emotional at all I'm making fun of you and it's hilarious. What exactly did you prove me wrong about? You didn't address any point I made. Stop telling people these cars hold their value you're dead wrong and it would be a travesty is somebody took you seriously about it. The S's from what I've read hold up better relatively but that's all you can say.

Also, i'm not wrong or even "dead wrong" about resale values, Model X and S results here

Let's look at the Model 3

Tesla in trouble and Musk rolls out something he will over promise and under deliver on.

The guy with seemingly 40% of the posts in this thread isn't the emotional one.

The company had something like 80% defective production from their tent and it's structurally bankrupt I seriously have no idea what this guy is looking at. They are a restructuring story according to Adam freaking Jonas.

LOL at you saying otherwise while the dudes melting about fanboys get a pass from you.
The other dude got caught literally in his 3rd lie/false fact, and you are here saying THAT is not emotional?

I stopped responding but I've been reading it. He's 100% emotional and projecting on others.
Several people in this thread have laid out very concise and logical explanations for their opinions on Tesla the company, their products, and even Musk -- most being fairly negative.
The fanboy's answer is to call everyone emotional or biased against his dear Tesla when it's obvious he has a deep-seated and emotional attachment to the brand. For what reason who knows...fanboys rarely operate in the logical.

I find it funny that you've been reading all the post as you say, but you give him a complete pass all while trying to tell me how unbiased you are. That dude gets a pass and you come at me for...I still don't know what, just a bunch of things you made up in your head and when i press you for examples, you reply with, "Haha, you're a fanboy"
quote:There ya go, that's how I know you've already lost. You keep proving you can't have a simple debate like rational adults often do, while simultaneously calling me the emotional one. That's a literal definition of being hypocritical.
The fanboy's answer
quote:Nope, not everyone. Just the ones who are, ya know, being emotional. The idea that you're going to argue that calling someone a name is NOT an emotional response...why, why would you even try to argue such a thing?
to call everyone emotional or biased against his dear Tesla
quote:What have I said in here that is not logical? That's the thing, you are so triggered by me, you just keep going with the attacks, while literally not disproving anything I've said...pretty textbook emotional response from you. Call names, avoid the topic at hand.

I legit can't fathom the lack of self awareness on your part here, it's pretty strange.

Its funny how they perceive you to be the emotional one in this debate i read through. Also, from a neutral perspective, why would i care how much and if tesla is making a profit. If they put out a good vehicle, then im getting a good vehicle

From what I hear, Tesla needs to be more focused on a creating a structure and system for maintaining their current fleet of vehicles, and not rolling out new models.
After I load it up and drive 220 miles to the (rented) beach house how do I get it home?
If I've passed a single charging station on the way to PCB, I haven't seen it.

Don’t know where you live but they are all over Florida and Alabama. Tesla maintains super charging stations along interstates that provide full charge in less than an hour.

Driving to PCB from Madisonville usually.
TBH, I haven't looked for one.
It is hard for me to think about sitting for an hour to recharge.
I envision any electric vehicle that I own to be a 2nd or 3rd car. Can't see it as a truck, at least not until infrastructure and charging rates improve.

I could see charging them in my garage as a daily driver but it would be inconvenient for road trips. Honestly gas doesn't really move the needle much for us from a financial standpoint which makes them less appealing to me.

At the rent house?
I would consider an electric truck if it wasn’t fugly, service was close, and the price was right

Exactly what I see also.
Range and charging times are going to matter a lot more to pickup truck drivers than other owners.

I was just using that as an example. Plug-in service is not convenient everywhere yet.
For now, you're going to have build in some time on your trip to charge it somewhere else.
The Rivian has some pretty significant range if the press releases are accurate.
