So Kit Harrington really didn't read scripts prior to table reads huh?

I liked the reaction of Varys while everyone else was clapping when they found out Arya kills the NK.

The reading worked better than the actual show.

Yeah that was odd. I assumed that was the cast getting their copy of the script for the first time though.

I wanted to see the table read for the final episode's political meeting scene, and watch all of them eyeroll how the series ended and who ended up on the throne.

That was a pretty weird documentary. Not at all what I was expecting really. At times if basically felt like a doc about that one Stark extra dude.

Emilia Clarke said that she knew what was going to happen to her before the table read, but that Kit purposely avoided finding out beforehand, that's why she smile/cringes at his reaction to stabbing her.

Did anybody see Jason Mamoa reaction to the finale? I thought he was going to transform into Drogo.

I appreciated the documentary. It was kind of boring, but I liked that it focused on the clear strength of the show, the production side of it. It was nice to see the people in action who were the clear winners behind the series' success.

It also kinda confirmed what I had already thought...D&D wanted so badly to have these huge momentous scenes/episodes, that the only way to accomplish their vision was to spend an incredible amount of time and effort on them, thus making it nearly impossible to have a standard 10 episode season to fully flesh out the characters and their storylines. Also, based on this documentary, it seems like the necessity to build a Kings Landing street set for Episode 5 was the primary culprit for the delay between airing Season 7 and Season 8.

The best part of these is watching Conleth Hill hating every single second.

I prefer Varys exasperated reaction when they were going through the table read.
