I will point out something:
After every single move the Pelicans have made: Griffin hire, Nelson hire, Lottery, Langdon hire, we’ve had a tweet or comment from someone reiterating ADs desire to get out. Every time.
I find that particularly interesting.

:eye roll:
Ok, see what the offers are for him. If they aren’t good enough, his arse better be ready to suit up until the deadline.

It’s to do 2 things:
1. Attempt to douse the flames and kill momentum with the franchise.
2. Get the narrative out that no matter what the Pels do, AD wants out.

And I am willing to play counterpoint to that...
If AD kills his trade value to the point where we are taking a loss to send him out, we’ll keep him and dare him to sign elsewhere next year without us using Bird rights to facilitate it.

I’ve never bought into the AD could be back hullabaloo that Crewz has been peddling. He is gone. 100%.
I don't doubt dude is sourced, but as someone with connects of my own, I feel like he could do a better job of differentiating what he has heard vs his own speculation. While he gets the cap and front office dynamics, you can tell that he wants to believe, and it seems that his sources do too. That's one of the dangers with team-affiliated sources IMO. They are basically fans themselves, and often rather biased towards their own team's chances.

And that's what I have said to him before on here.
There is a vast difference with sources between a fact ie, we are hiring Trajan Langdon, and their own internal hopes, ie we will keep AD.

My semi-informed speculation: KD to Knicks, and likely Kyrie too, although it could be Kemba instead with Kyrie going to Nets. If Kyrie goes to Knicks, Kemba to LA. Butler and Kawhi to LAC. AD to Celts. Morris stays, but not Rozier. They will get another PG.

Very true. It's like they go out of their way to make sure this message gets put there every time something good happens. Biggest example with the Shams report about him still feeling the same minutes after we win the lotto.

I don’t understand why people think there is any shot AD comes back. He wore a shirt that said “that’s all folks”. There is no recovering from that. He’s too soft to handle the fan heckling he received. He’s gone.

Did kobe flip off Lakers fans?

Fletch has been mostly on point since this saga started
He’s done nothing but state the obvious and did the ole “I can confirm through sources” tweets. He has not ever out scooped national media to my recollection. No one holds these dudes’ feet to the fire for all the BS they spew. There is nothing for then to lose by throwing a bunch of shite at the wall

there is not any damn team that i love the getback in this AD deal. I'm more intrigued with like a Kings trade with talent than i am celtics and knicks. NYK has 3 pick and a pile of trash.

Point being I would not rule out AD considering a return based off fletch . Nope nope nope

Winning Zion changed everything. Before we had to turn that pile of trash into a star player somehow. Now we only need to turn it into a good supporting cast.

AD is pissing me off but this is implying something inaccurate. AD flipped of a fan. Not the fans. The fan said something and he flipped him off. Its not like he walked out of the arena with birds in the air to everyone.

But the way you are sending that message off is like "ok, we're now able to take less of a package.... more quantity of mediocrity"... frick that. I want something extremely good back.
Posted on 5/20/19 at 3:04 pm to Chad504boy
It’s not about taking less of a package, it’s about taking the best package available. Just like any star player trade, the team you trade with believing they can keep him or not will limit the market.
