He ain’t stupid

RNC against it
GOP house/senate leadership against it
Alabama will probably be against it after big business F’s them over

Got to win in 2020 and not piss off white women living the burbs in PA, OH, MI,WI, VA, etc

Need to focus on New York basically allowing infanticide

I would prefer he say "I hope this new law forces the SCOTUS to review Roe vs. Wade"

Kind of puts him in a lose lose. Piss off the Christian Taliban or join the Christian Taliban.

He can come out and say it should be a state's rights issue but he believes ____________.

Then be done with it

I don't care. I support the law no matter who doesn't.

How's that hollywood boycott of Georgia working out after they passed their own new abortion law?

Trump won't say a word for or against it if he is smart.

If he comes out against it, he will demobilize a good portion of the pro-life folks. He will need them this time around and as of now has their support - unlike his first run.

Any time he is asked, he should say "Roe vs Wade is the law of the land, until I am otherwise informed. I don't make laws, I enforce them."

If he does, I'll still vote for him, as he is entitled to his opinion. It's a state's right issue that the SCOTUS has to resolve, not DJT.

We'll live with it.
An airline isn't going to cancel a billion dollar A320 order and switch to the 737 Max 8 because the planes were assembled in a pro-life state.
Do you really think a SJW in New York is going to ask where the Mercedes SUV they want to buy was manufactured?
Is Home-Depot going to stop buying pressure-treated southern yellow pine from Alabama?

In the final analysis, what are we winning by allowing the unchecked murder of millions of innocent lives? People who accept or advocate for the abomination called abortion are losing their compassion, civility, conscience, moral clarity and ultimately their eternal souls.

If it's about winning elections I guess we conservatives should do an end around on the Dims and hijack the Dim political platform as our own, that should do it. Right?

The media/dems have successfully turned this into a national women's rights issue.

No way in frozen hell does DJT come out against though.
He's a true panderer to the base if nothing else.

The man himself has probably been responsible for more abortions than his entire base combined.

I have two issues with the law.

1) The lifetime imprisonment for physicians.

2) No exceptions for rape.

Those two make it too extreme in my book. And I agree with those saying let it work its way through the court system. Trump really doesn't have to comment beyond that.

If he does, he loses the base and loses in 2020.

Same state that brought us a Dem senator in a red State.

He just needs to come out and say "that decision should be left to the states as outlined in the 10th amendment".

Any business that would sever ties with Alabama over this would be retarded.
