Russillo on Bill Simmons podcast said that the "spin class" comment was a complete joke, more of hyperbole on the unreliable information SAS was spreading. Said he's had to do a lot of damage control because he was shocked people actually ran with that story.
I remember that comment on whatever podcast it was and figured he was joking. Thought I missed something when the story actually started popping up.

It falls into the Dan Rather category of “fake but accurate” or “The Tyson Zone”.
No matter how stupid the story, it won’t get dismissed at first blush just because of who is involved. Cause Jeannie Buss has been confirmed to have done some weird shite like the whole feud with Steve Ballmer which was revealed in a court case involving James Dolan, who was emailing back and forth with her over it.
