This is what I'm thinking as well, although I'd love to see more.

since i am buying UT season tickets i have seen the availability map of tickets currently unsold - half of the entire section 18 in the lower north end zone is unsold. Most of the small east upper deck is unsold including sections just below and next to the LSU sections. Also lots of good seats unsold in lower east but they are expensive. UT is selling all of these seats as season tickets only right now

Don't you realize how much statements like this hurt aggie's feelings?

LSU should only allow the same ticket allotment next year that UT is giving to them this year. It’s up to UT to allocate those tickets how they choose

Exactly. If UT wants to bring their 400+ member band to Baton Rouge next season, they can do that. LSU can determine where the visitor seats are located and how many there are, but they have no control over how UT wants to allocate them. Same thing applies to LSU fans in DKR.

Like I said a week ago, LSU should give UT 3,000 tickets. They should ALL be on the same ROW in the uppers. If they take up more than one row, make another row of UT fans ten rows distant, and so on, starting from the top row of East Upper, South Upper, and West Upper.

Have single rows of burnt orange surrounded by purple.

Don’t worry. I imagine the Texas fans will be pretty silent with the amount of scoring we’ll do. You’ll be able to hear our band/fans just fine.

If our fan presence will be significantly limited I think it is imperative to have the full band there to have some positive noise support for the team.

I hope LSU is only giving Texas 3000 tickets for them in Baton Rouge

And splitting them up: 750 in each corner of the upper decks. Nothing inside the bowl.

Turnabout is fair play.

1. As any band LSU takes would have to sit along the top half of the upper end zone, LSU should bring no band to Austin UNLESS UT allows them to sit on risers on the ground.

2. Texas Band is huge. Can you imagine UT trying to string out their band across the very top of the East Upper at LSU?

This is yet another reason we should be playing UT in Arlington with the tickets split 42,500 to each school in 2019 and then in NRG in Houston with the tickets split there as well.

Hell no. I've had enough of these neutral site games for a while. Hopefully, they will be few and far between now that Woodward is AD. A game of this magnitude is a big deal for the local economies of both cities. Besides, why wouldn't you want to experience the pageantry and game day traditions of another school on their campus?

We will be heavily outnumbered in Austin and UT will experience the same in Baton Rouge. What will piss me off to no end is if Texas fans refuse to sell tickets to LSU fans, but our fans turn around and unload tickets in droves in 2020 just to make a quick buck. I don't want to see 25K+ visiting fans in Tiger Stadium ever again. Allowing UGA to do that last season was unacceptable.

Agreed, I didn’t get to make that game but it was noticeable when they showed shots of the entire stadium.

I’d imagine a lot of that had to do with us getting beat by Florida the week before.

IF (and that's a big IF), LSU allows the full band to travel, it would probably be Vandy because the tickets are cheap. LSU has to buy tickets for the band. The School of Music (Dean Queen & Damon Talley) will not shell out "extra" $ for the band if they can get away with it. Sending the full band to Vandy is a big waste. The stadium will be half empty. The Texas game or even better, the Alabama game would be the right choice. Send the band to the game(s) that matters the most!! However, they (Talley & Queen) won't do that!

I think we will have a LARGE amount of people there. I'm in my 20s and know 30+ people also in their twenties going. About 1/3 live in Texas. The rest are flying in. And this is just one friend group. I'm sure there are plenty more like it.
