Recently heard that Incubus will be doing Morning View in the Fall. Will be awesome.

Who’s seen artists do this? What’s cool is that they do the tracks in order. I’ve seen Rush perform Moving Pictures, Megadeth do Rust in Peace and Queensryche do Operation Mindcrime.

Got to see Sturgill perform A Sailors Guide in full in New Orleans. It was unforgettable

I've seen several, its cool when its a classic album. Mastodon doing Crack the Skye live when it was their new album didn't have the same affect on me as seeing a 20 year old album. I've seen

Helmet-Meantime and Betty on different tours
Slayer-Seasons in the Abyss and Megadeth-Rust in Peace on the same show
Mastodon-Crack the Skye
Down-NOLA
Crowbar-Odd Fellows Rest
Cavalera brothers-Roots

Saw Sturgill at the Saenger as well. Great show.

Also U2 on The Joshua Tree anniversary tour. Some really great songs on there that I hadn’t heard live before.

I've seen a few bands do this and I really enjoyed all of them.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here, Animals
Roger Waters - Dark Side of the Moon
Roger Waters - The Wall
Steely Dan - Aja
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
Zappa Plays Zappa - Roxy & Elsewhere

In most of these cases, the band played the album start to finish in the first set, then an assortment of other things for set two. DSotM was the other way around. In the case of the Floyd show, WYWH was set 1 and Animals was set 2.

Steely Dan was particularly cool. The show started with one of the female singers coming out on stage, pulling the record out of the sleeve, putting it on a turntable and placing the needle down. After they had played side 1, she went back over to the turntable and flipped the record over.

That Incubus show sounds pretty good.

I recently heard that Steve Hackett is doing Selling England by the Pound. That's one I would definitely like to see.

When an entire tour is doing an album I think it is a cop out. Feels like you have no new ideas or are relying on the past. However if people are paying and going, I guess the fans like it.

I wouldn't call it a cop out. Some albums are meant to be experienced in their entirety. Especially when you get into prog rock/metal. Some bands will also perform a full album as set 1 (maybe album anniversary) and then set 2 will be a mixed setlist.

The Gaslight Anthem did The 59 Sound for the 10th anniversary of its release.

They sort of aren't together anymore, so it was cool, as I'm a fan of theirs.

I've seen:

The Used - The Used (2016 Dallas - House of Blues)
The Used - In Love And Death (2016 Dallas - House of Blues)
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory (2014 England - Download Fest)

There's other bands I've caught early enough at HOB that have played nearly the entire first album or the entire thing, but it's never in order and not intentional.

The show at Fillmore in Nola is billed as Incubus: 20 Years of Make Yourself & Beyond

Don't know that it entails playing MY or MV in their entirety, but I'll be in attendance, ticket showed up yesterday in mail.

That Brian Wilson show for Pet Sounds would definitely have been one I'd like to have attended.

Have seen a show or two on YouTube of Green Day performing Dookie straight through, solid album from that time.

I'm going to see Built to Spill do Keep it Like a Secret on it's 20th anniversary tour. I can't wait, as those are my favorite songs by them.

I wish Incubus would do Science instead of those other albums. That'd be more interesting IMO.
