Income Opportunities For Stay At Home Wife

Wife is going to be staying at home with kids starting in a couple months. Just curious if anyone else’s wife was in a similar situation and did something to earn small side income? Not looking to replace salary, but maybe just a couple hundred dollars a week?
Income would not be required for our well being so something consistent wouldn’t necessarily be a must either.

I would prefer to keep our friends and not have them avoid our calls

2x, once in AM to feed them and them back again in the evening to feed, make sure they are alive/etc. they have a doggie door they go in and out of all day otherwise
its a good business for anybody who likes dogs and has transportation
just looked it up. rover keeps 20% of the fee for standard accounts, or 25% for enhanced accounts where rover sets up a professional marketing page with photos, background check, screened clients, etc
not bad

Is there nothing that your wife can do related to her current job? What's her career, degree, etc. OP?
Book keeper is a good one if she knows anything in that field.
Dog watcher as said above
Nanny- We pay a lady $12/ hour for 3 days a week for 6 hours to watch our infant. Close to part time daycare prices and we get 1 on 1 with a person we trust.

She is a teacher... I did find something online where teachers do English online for children in China. Something I’ll have her look into as well.

Is $12/hr cheap for a nanny? Seems like that would cost more.

Depends on city. In BR it’s mid tier, in Nola its very low. In Monroe i think it would be high.

Tutoring. I see people on Nextdoor.com sometimes who are looking for a tutor for their kids.

Some women sell Matilda Jane clothing or something similar. It is annoying but I’ve heard of people doing well especially for a side job.
