In a typical week, Monday through Sunday, how often do you eat out? Mrs. Gumbo and I cook a meal and/or eat leftovers probably 6 days a week and will only eat out once a week but even that is pushing it. Most of the time instead of eating out we'll buy steaks and grill them at home. Cheaper to go that route than going to a restaurant, by far.

I know some family and friends eat out at mid-tier restaurants probably 4 nights a week. I just can't fathom the cost as well as the damage to your body from doing that so often.

What do you baws do - cook more or eat out more?

We eat out for lunch about once per week and get takeout about once. We go sit down at a restaurant probably twice per month.

Food/Drink board. Caution: Some aren't too friendly over there to new folks.

We're not discussing what we cook or eat at restaurants - just merely if we cook or eat out more. Should that really belong on the Food & Drink board?

We’ll usually eat out for dinner 1X a week and we go to Sunday brunch after church every Sunday. So 2X/week.

We eat out Saturday lunch or night and Sunday lunch sometimes. Maybe the occasional midweek "frick this week" CFA run.

Exactly! I love to cook and agree that restaurant food is terrible for a person.
