Folks, enough of the bickering about Episode 3. Lets move on to more important matters now that the White Walkers ended up being a huge bust and not relevant to the actual story.

Cersei is the endgame.

In the trailer we see:
-Daenerys interacting with her dragons (two of them)
-A brief shot of Ghost (not dead)
-Cersei, Euron and the Mountain all seem to be on a ship (where are they headed?)
-Daenerys's fleet also hitting the high seas, with a dragon overhead (where are they headed?)
-Daenerys leading the celebration of their victory against the Night King

Thoughts?

We are getting a predictable ending to this show

Cersei and the throne had and will always be the endgame even in the books as George says the show and books will end the same.

I’ve been invested in this story for like 12 years baw. Gonna need another few hours

But the most satisfying ending to me would be the Lannister kids all reuniting at the end and keeping control of the realm. Jaime killing Brienne/Jon who is about to kill Cersei being the “big shock” at the end.

First, way too many main characters survived episode 3. Most of them already have completed story arcs.

Anyway. We need to assume the force of Daenerys force. Majority of the Dothraki and Unsullied are gone. As is the leftovers of the Northern forces.

I'm going to be very generous and say she has 1000 men left (although the show will probably beef that number up ala plot magic).

Yes we have 2 dragons, but even with them, they still have to worry about the Ballista (unless Dany conveniently forgot about it).

They have 2 options.

An infiltration/assassination mission.

Try to get more forces (although with only 3 episodes I dont see how that works or who is left to recruit from)

A large scale battle with Cersei is akin to suicide.

You’re brave for starting this on Monday. I think too many tears are still falling over last night for it to be a productive thread tho.

There’s no more surprise or psychological suspense anymore. This show is simply a mindless action movie now.

I’m expecting to see terminator or a transformer in one of the final episodes

They wiped out all of the Dothraki and Unsullied.

They left Dany and Jon with no army to fight Cersei.

Cersei played it perfectly and now has a huge advantage, minus the dragons, which she has weapons against.

If you think that is irrelevant to the story, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

If you're going to talk about episode 4, you kind of have to argue about episode 3.

Jon should be at least next to her. Not to mention everyone that knows Jon is the true heir to the Iron Throne is still alive should be stepping up.

I understand it was her army that was sacrificed but it should be Jon motivating everyone to go south.

Even with 2 dragons im sure the show will find a way to make them even more useless in the final conflict.

I just feel like the ended is going to be super cheesy with Jon/Dany ruling & making incest babies. WW are gone so there’s no room for a doom ending and there’s not enough time or any remaining candidates to take their place on the throne. No way they let Cersei win.

I want Jon/Dany to die in battle, Bran to warg a dragon to take over King’s Landing and Sansa becoming Queen with Tyrion Targaryen.

Last night was the 1/9/2012 of GOT. Saban broke the Iron Throne. All discussion of future episodes is pointless.
