Herman is a douche. Orgeron will go 2-0 against his 2 biggest competitors for the LSU job a couple years ago too.

Having UT where they are now comfirms 100 times over what we thought he could be. Which is why he was offered before O.
i would take him in a heartbeat, and can't really blame him for taking the UT job when Alleva ran like a punk from a negotiation.

I think Herman was Texas bound regardless, but our spineless AD at the time was just as much to blame. Acting like a little bitch when Texas reached out to Herman.

Herman not being at LSU is more about our X AD than anything else. It’s obvious , to most reasonable LSU fans, that there never was a legitimate search. There was, “ I am the search”. And now there is, I am gone.
We should be able to beat Herman and Texas this coming season, but then, we should have been able to beat Jimbo/A&M and Mullen/Florida last season.
Nevertheless, I’m going with LSU by 14.

Tom Herman might be a douche, but he can coach laps around Orgeron and it’s not even debatable.
