When it’s this close it’s way too subjective. You could easily make the case that we “won” this year as well as 2015

Closing with the future is extremely bright for this program. The incoming recruits class after class no doubt wins a title, if healthy. I’m praying we can keep Jay, and keep this ball rolling. We will break through eventually. We are so close.

So. Freaking. Close.

Beating UCLA was nice though.

Florida could be without Trinity Thomas next year if she goes for the olympics. She is still on the USA national team.

Its maddening to consider that if just ONE of our 9.85's turns into a 9.9 we win the thing. Or one or two of OU's scores doesn't get the front runner score. This team has been fun to watch. Props to their dedication and talent.

Maybe it was but we lose credibility when we say that about every event in every sport we play. Happens every time.

She may have been the diffference maker tonight if she had come to LSU.

Amazing, and then attributes it to an alleged politically incorrect tweet by a coach.

It was more than that but her mom is crazy and Florida is apparently going to get her sister a spot on the swimming/diver team even thought I don't think she was that good.

I have no doubt there are recruiting violations galore at Florida and especially UGA. Suzanne is a monster. But Rowland is not a good coach. Year after year she has the best incoming class and the best overall team and they do not produce. These gymnasts are not progressing but are actually regressing in some cases. If something crazy happens again and Florida does not get to Nationals or does not make Final Four then I could see her job on the line. What does it matter who you recruit if you can’t even make it to Nationals?

So she the Calapari of women's gymnastics.

Is Sarah's sister coming here? I see her tweeting about her quite a bit.

Aleah is coming to LSU. We have amazing recruits coming in but so do many many teams.

LSU will always have top teams but the key is for these girls to come to LSU healthy. The sophomore class was as banged up of a recruiting class as it ever gets.

Campbell, Dean, Durante, and Desiderio were out for more than a year before coming to LSU. Its hindered development a lot and put them behind schedule.

Just a bandwagon fan here, but the way the season began it appeared we might fall flat on our face.

But this team wouldn’t have none of that, they worked hard, got better and had their best meet when it counted the most.

All a fan can expect is their best, and these girls did just that.

Congrats

Have followed every meet this year and the fight that these girls have is unreal. No one in the country was beating OU tonight (and the judges were going to make sure of that) but we all know who the real #1 is...GEAUX TIGERS!

Every year.

So sick of the bias in favor of Oklahoma.

Our girls are better, and were better last year, too.

There's absolutely no way this isn't rigged and predetermined. OU is good, yes. They always are. But LSU was far, far better especially this year.

Congratulations, ladies. You literally beat out everyone in the nation except for the judges.
