Can New Orleans meteorologists calm the hell down?

First, they said that it was going to storm today. Stay home, cancel school. It rained for maybe 30 minutes. Now they're breaking into programming to talk about a tornado warning...at length.
It seems like whenever a little bit of wind and rain is on the radar, all of these weather people lose their minds. It's disruptive. Let it rain. 98% of the time, it's fine and there's no flooding.
Margaret Orr is on right now giving a complete breakdown of rain fall inches parish by parish. FFS.

I personally don’t mind being interrupted to learn about tornado activity in my area.

Margaret Orr has to be the worst meteorologist on TV. She's always high strung, cares more about the pictures people send her than talking about the weather and she always seems like she is taking down to the viewers to make herself sound smarter. Can't watch wdsu anymore because of her.

Not sure about NOLA mets but mets in general want to spend too much time on the models and timing instead of understanding and explaining the factors of the predictions. Basically they’re regurgitating what higher ups are telling them.
