Would you want GTA 6 to be based in Vice City?

And if so, an updated 2020 version? Darker and less colorful?..Or a period piece?
Was just imagining the scale of what could be done now with that city on the current and upcoming consoles.

I would play Miami again.
There are only so many American cities with a really unique vibe/pull to them. New York, LA, Miami, but after that there aren’t many that would feel really different.
- New York is the massive/busy city.
- Miami has the party/wild vibe with beaches.
- LA is the flashy city
D.C. would feel different and RockStar could have a field day with political storylines.
Other wildcards: Philly, New Orleans, Chicago, somewhere in Hawaii? Where ever it is I’m sure they’ll make it good.

I dont feel like theyd use new Orleans anytime soon. With what mafia 3 did and plus the Saint Denis city in Rockstar's RDR2.
Which bums me out because, I wanted to see what they would do with a place like that.
I think I'd like to see an updated and modern vice city. As far as paying homage, be able to purchase retro clothing combinations. Also having vintage cars, and having an 80s radio station/customizable playlist, etc.

My only problem with places like Vice City, Liberty City, and a possible New Orleans is the lack of diverse terrain. All of them are flat, which makes for a boring game, imo. On the other hand, I've played games where they tried to add topography to New Orleans and it's annoying as hell because part of the feel of New Orleans is the flatness.

I'd enjoy a return to Las Venturas. Open up more casinos, you have the mountains and lake Mead equivalent not too far away.
Maybe they could play around a bit and have a time-shifting story-line where part of the story takes place in New Las Venturas and the other part in the hey day of Old Venturas (like Vegas under mob rule)?

I'd want New Orleans, but Mafia III was recent enough. Just remaster Vice City with modern graphics. That or San Andreas.

ancient city that has both new and old, historical architecture and pyramids. Cairo has new building built on top of old ones. There is plenty of area to explore. Great location for RS to keep up their alien conspiracy theory or even mummies.

VC was my favorite in the series.
However, I think an European map would be awesome. A London-Paris-Amsterdam or a Paris-Amsterdam-Berlin would be the best bet to stretch the series to the next logical step.

There have been a bunch of leaks this past week on GTA6 launching with the PS5 next year and the setting is Miami and New York.
Could you imagine if that last part is true?

I wouldn't say zero, since GTA used to be a PS exclusive and Sony could definitely pay up if it's launching with PS5.

Depending on which rumor you hear, if the PS5 does beat the next Xbox to the market, then it very well could be an exclusive title. Then they could rerelease it when the other one launches.

The only consistent thing every rumor says about GTA6 is the NYC and Miami locations. Those typically leak out first for most games, so good chance those are accurate.
