That was the most fun I had watching NOLA basketball in a decade. You had to think the future was bright sweeping first round and taking a game from GS. Now we got this shitshow. What a fall from grace

I know y’all hate AD right now but let’s be real. He was catching lobs, running the court and playing elite defense the entire series.
Mirotic hit some insane, clutch shots too. Most notably the rainbow 3 in game 2 in Portland. That sucked the energy out of the arena.

excited about potential that has yet to manifest...some of which literally depends on the lucky bounce of a ball
isnt the same as seeing a functional core that might have been 1-2 pieces away from being a legit conference contender
Pels had talent and we will never see what this iteration of the team could have accomplished. We were robbed of that.
I am grateful to be receiving a potential decent haul vs playing this out if he was already out the door but him sabotaging a team that he didnt get to play with at all this year to go be LeBron's jockstrap holder will ruffle my feathers for quite some time.

And that is what is so frustrating about AD quitting on this team. With KD probably headed out of the conference next season, the west could be wide open and ripe for the taking. With AD entering his prime and Jrue smack dead in the middle of his, I believe we could have been a top 3-6 playoff seed the next 2-3 years.

I usually dont like these type of threads, but Broski... Im literally thinking what you posted.
This season went completely opposite of what I envisioned going into the year. It’s time to rebuild. Hopefully we can get a top draft pick out of it. Just give me Knox and the Knicks top pick and im happy.
If we can get a top 3 pick (preferably a top 2 pick) ill take it for AD.
