I also predicted this. Parish ran a $23 4 pack which included a $5 mandatory donation to something. I predicted they ran it as a test to see if they could sell their 4 packs at that price. It worked, and here we are

Bingo.

I might be mistaken, but I thought that OJD release stayed around for a long while without selling out. I think they even had to end up reducing the price to clear it out? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong

Yes. If you haven’t had their stuff in 3 to 4 years, you need to try again.

Yeah I’ve hit a point where I’ll try a new release if it’s reasonable but 24 fricking dollars

The every day drinkers have gotten good enough to really make that hard for me to sell myself on.

Envir, Voodoo, Jucifer and Holly Roller are all great.

OJD had the disclaimer of the $5 mandatory donation which pissed a lot of people off. They told everyone the beer was $17 with a $5 donation on top.

This is different when they tell you it's $24 period.

Right, but everyone knows it was their way of judging the market.... months later they were still sitting on tons of it.

I know, I'm just saying there's a difference when they tell you that the beer costs $17 with a $5 mandatory donation vs when they just say it's flat $24 for the beer and beer alone.

It's $17 vs $24 not $22 vs $24.

Ehh...just keep sending fresh Ghost, Envie and Reve here. Don’t need a bunch of $6 per can liquid skittles taking up shelf space.

I'm saying that I'm okay with paying $6-8 for a beer regardless of where it is purchased and consumed.

Ok, but this beer would be $10-$12 at a bar

Yeah the comparisons here are wild.

"I'd pay $5 for a 12 oz bud light so why wouldn't I spend $8 for a 16oz can"

Well, that same beer in a bar is $8+ for a 8-10 oz pour.

This beer will be more at a bar since regular ghost goes 10-13 depending on where you are at

For how much though? The 8-10%+ ABV stuff starts at $6-8ish in 10 oz pours here.

Beer is priced like they paid Other Half to come down and brew with them.
